Middle School Tips 5 From Charlotte Miller, a sixth grade language arts and reading teacher at Bill Reed Middle School in Loveland, Colorado: ìOur middle school has an agenda book that each student buys. I get an extra one, label the front ëhomework assignmentsí and each day I write in that book what we have covered during the day, what papers need to be obtained from me, what assignments are handed in or due in the next few days, vocabulary words, etc. When students are sick, they are taught to get the ëhomework bookí and copy their missed work. This also works great for homework requests for absent students. I copy the pages that apply to them and take the necessary worksheets or books to the office. I only have to write down the day's work once.î |
